Tourism In The Kingdom

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been focusing on Tourism to add strength to its GDP. The National Transformation Plan 2020 will develop alternatives to oil thereby giving necessary impetus to tourism infrastructure. With the launch of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a series of new hospitality, infrastructure and mixed real estate projects have been announced this year. The Kingdom wants to double its room inventory to cater to the surging demand by 2030. A Jll report prepared in 2016 states Jeddah’s room inventory will double by 2018.

The government has also outlaid its plans to sell land to private developers, such as the 4 million square metres it owns around Mecca, the most expensive real estate in the world. The Toursim Ministry will develop Islamic tourism to the holy sites in hopes to boost the 18 million annual visitors to 35-45 million in five years.

One-World Hospitality aims to bridge the gaps between the end tourist and the Kingdom by providing end to end services like complete packages, Flight bookings, Hotel reservations and even Visa Assistance.
